Sports Manual Therapist
Lori Hasani Adams is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and movement specialist. He has a profound
knowledge and understanding of anatomy and kinesiology. Lori takes a holistic approach to manual
therapy and bodywork and is able to incorporate several different modalities and techniques to address
the root cause of pain and dysfunction in clients. He is trained in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu,
Myofascial release, Sports Massage, Hot and Cold Stone and Cupping. His experience includes work at
several day spas, and with collegiate athletes as well as a list of personal clients. Being a past division 1
track athlete himself he has an intimate understanding of the needs of an athletic body. Moreover, he is
an avid yoga practitioner and so Lori knows the importance of the Mind-Body connect in therapy and
Lori currently works with several teams at the University of Maryland College Park as a sports massage
therapist: including the Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams, the Track and field and Cross Country teams
and the Lacrosse team. He also works at a Luxury Spa in Downtown Baltimore.
Lori was formally trained at the Holistic Massage Training Institute in Baltimore MD. And he also
graduated from Morgan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Sports
Management and also a Master of Science in Management.
